Dude...where are u going?  I haven't seen much this year...saw a few in GMU 335
and one in the Okanagan when we road hunting.  Still learning how to hunt...right now I am "vegetarian".  Did get a rabbit though which was nice

Opening weekend deer, I saw tons and tons of grouse in the Okanogan, but they were a ways in from the road.
I would rather be a conservative nut job, than a liberal with no nuts, and no job!

i finally made it out for the first time in my new area, walked a half mile and saw 5.  they sure were jumpy, all of them flushed, the last one jumped in shotgun range and i nailed him with the 12 gauge :IBCOOL:
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.

In my freezer  :chuckle:, made grouse nuggets last saturday and had the leftovers for lunch today  :EAT:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

the girlfriend and myself will be hunting grouse in unit 460 this weekend. 7 mile walk from the drop off point to the pick up point. should be a fun walk. and i usually see quite a few grouse along the roads im taking. sense ill be walking this time it should be better sense i wont have a noisy truck scaring them off.
