At least you asked and took good pics instead of just telling everyone you found one.

Now Dat's Phunny!! :chuckle:

Also look at the shape of the canines. A dog/wolf's teath are not as curved or as thick at the bases. The width of the eye socket leans more toward a Bear scull also. As some have said, the five toes, but also the shape of the foot stands out to me.

Concensus... Bear.

looks like a hunter kill that wasn't recovered. if it died of natural causes it would have been more like a bedded bear situation not over the log. i know scavengers could have moved it but when it a scavenger situation normally you wouldn't have a complete skeleton

Actually, no matter what the cause of death was, having a full skeleton is odd anyway. Yotes feed on things and move bones/meat all over.  I'm thinking that that thing, shot or not, got snowed on really quick.

Cool find, I too would say bear.  I found a bear skeleton last spring, not to common!

That is a cool find. I have never heard of anyone finding a bear carcass. I dont know if anyone can tell me for sure but I heard a bear skeleton basically disenegrates in a short amount of time just like a pig skeleton.

I haven't noticed anything like that 180.  They seem to last just as long as anything else out there.
