I watched a bull elk in NM one year walk about 300 yards down a 3-strand fenceline to step over a break in the top wire, then walk about 300 yards back to his original line of travel. I think I even called him a lazy *censored* as I glassed him
That is an awesome photo Doug.Quote from: bow4elk on November 02, 2009, 08:27:40 PMI watched a bull elk in NM one year walk about 300 yards down a 3-strand fenceline to step over a break in the top wire, then walk about 300 yards back to his original line of travel. They will block game trails to either side of their stand, and then tie down the top wire at the trail they want the deer to cross.
