I'm not quite as excited as I usually get, I've been trapping off and on almost all year.  Good luck everyone, sure wish we could bury some steel.

Just took the class and got the certificate but have not got my licenses yet.  I am starting completely from scratch so I have been reading a lot and putting together some traps and tools.  My plan was to try for some cats but all my cat areas are to far to check everyday.  I have some areas close that have coons and maybe some other critters as well so I might give that a try.  Need to get the license and some trap tags still.  Cant wait to start seeing everyones pictures from this season.  Good luck all.

How difficult is it to get the cert?

super easy.  Just take the class and pass the test.  It was really easy but very informative.  There is a new manual but you can read the one on WDFW and take the test without the class.  I read the manual but didnt think it was very helpful.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.
