Just curious how some hunters in this state view the SSS "wolf management plan" when it comes to turning in someone trying to SSS.

Brake the law and i will benefit from it (if i witness it). We may not like the laws we have, but the law is the law.

Poacher is a poacher in my book. If its off season, its off limits, regardless of your views (IMHO).

that is an interseting question......What a cunumdrum that would be. As much as I don't care for the wolf, I would turn in a poacher no matter what he shot...points or no points. It is against the law (poaching) and it doesn't matter what species. I know that I might not make very many friends with that answer but that is my honest answer. A poacher is a poacher and I don't care for poachers. I would also add that I believe ranchers have a right to protect their livestock, which in my opinion is a different situation than poaching (even though the game dept. might not see it as such).

I agree with Gasman and a few others here. I'd turn them in without a second thought. I do not want the wolves here any more than anyone else on the site but it's poaching. In fact, points would not need to be "on the line" with this...I'd do it anyway.

I believe that if an individual is allowed to pick what laws they allowed to follow and which ones they can ignore, they will inevitably start ignoring bag limits, point restrictions, tresspassing laws, road and trail regulations, etc. Right or wrong, I throw them all into the same catergory. None have any business out there IMO.

I guess this is just one more reason why Mossy backs have such a bad rep.. We live and work some place other than the woods and fields, spending our "Quality Time" out in Nature....

I have been trying to dry out the moss over in the basin but i still can't quite shake it... HMMMM Maybee its the Huskie hat

the number of folks supporting poaching surprises me, but there are not more eastsiders voting to support poaching than the other way around.
