I'm a little disappointed you weren't carrying your bow.....oh wait a minute you'd be cat *censored* by now. LOL   Damn dude.  Nice composure.  Way to react while your buddy probably sat there with a dumb look onhis face. NICE trophy.  Glad you ended up on top.

Awesome story and pics!! how was the pucker factor?

My buddy always laughs at me because I always carry my .44mag whenever I'm in the woods, even if I'm just checking my cams or scouting, after getting a cat on one of my cam's I decide never again will I go into these woods not packing!.

Thats a monster female lion, congrats, and great job holding your composure.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Dave your a lucky SOB in many ways. Nice job. That's a trophy of a lifetime alright. I'm sure many deer and elk appreciate that. I don't blame you for changing clothes. I would have started with my shorts  :chuckle:

Cool Cat, what caliber did you shoot her with? I helped a frind trck a wounded bocat one time and my only shot to finish off was between the eyes, so that is what I took with a 9mm, the skull was fine so I am thinking yours will be too. Man I wish I could get lucky like that. I was reading the story and at the end the first thought that came to mind was thank god he has combat training!!

Nice cat - great story - huge pucker factor.

The sealing is a pain in the butt, no several folks that have had challenges getting bobcat's sealed.
