They will group back up in bachelor groups. With the leaves falling and them grouping up it should be getting easier to spot them. Maybe its different this year but last year the later it got in November the more bulls we were seeing every day. :twocents:

actually seen a bull the other day following a cow, grunting away. all the bulls i have been seeing have been by themselves.  like I said I could have taken some nice bull elk! the last couple of days I have seen 5 different bulls and several cows. seen one bull 5point like 2 times per day. I want to thank you for your help seen some nice country. have you ever ran into a gamey all the way in there? she drove right up on me.

I did not have it on this computer. anyways do you know anyone with an elk tag here? I don't have gps numbers but I can guide someone to a couple of bulls if interested.

If you find a hot cow, you'll know as there will be a pile of bulls on her.  Most are breed by now, but if one missed first cycle, there will be A LOT of action around her.  I sent Hornseeker into one of my favorite muley haunts after deer and he ran into a dozen hot bulls working a cow in the bowl.  That was 2nd or third week in November.  Rut doesn't have to be on to call them in.  I've called in quite a few in January and February while horn hunting or goofing off.  They are actually pretty social for such a solitary animal.
