Look at Browns Creek, CCA Peak, near USK or go further north to Le Clair Creek--Sp??? There are some wall hangers right around that time of year.  Good luck. This is my Buck from that area a few years back, I think it was dry canyon he was shot in.

Check out this buck. It was taken by a buddy of mine with black powder at only fifteen yards. It scored a 186.

This was take on Oct. 4, the last day of Black powder for deer. He has property in the Aladdin Unit but he never told me which unit he got it in. He was actually after elk when he saw this deer coming down the trail. He also passed on five bear while hunting too. He doesn't like bear meat.

Any of you guys do the treestand thing or do you prefer to still hunt?  Probably going to take the stand, but don't get much use out of it over here so not sure if I will be able to sit in it.

We're leaving the day after thanksgiving.  Gotta get the family time in first.

A tree stand is a great way to hunt the late season. But youo have to find some good sign and some does to help your odds. Alittle bait is always helpfull. Good Luck :)
