The ruts just starting
« on: November 01, 2009, 07:52:04 PM »
Well, I met up this weekend with Ricochet down on the refuge.  Took about 300 pics.  Had a good time camping , saw some really good bucks.  The ruts just starting, its really going to heat up in the next couple of weeks.  We're planning on being down there again this next weekend  Below are a few of the pictures that I took this weekend.  The last picture is of Ricochet taking a picture of one of the bucks.  Can't wait until next weekend.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you .

Those pictures were taken on the Malheur Refuge, approximately 50 miles south of Burns, Oregon.

Luv tose pics.  I drove from Kettle Falls to Walla Walla yesterday.  Saw about 100 deer, but only 2 bucks.  Neither of them were swelled up very much, and neither were pushing does.  I think we're still a few weeks out from the rut here...

It won't be long, some bucks are already chasing.  This guy wouldn't even stop to have his picture taken.

Some would stop to smell the ???

And some were moving in with the does already.
