That is a rough skinned newt.  The most toxic animal in Washington.

thanks kain, now I know what not to eat in a survival situation :bdid: Kain I found a toad the other day that was green.  Do you know what type it would be?  I have never seen a green one, only grey and brown variotions.

As far as I know we only have two kinds of toads in WA but I know very little.   :chuckle:  The colors can vary but doesnt mean its a different species.

Phrynosoma douglassii, Short-horned lizard... We find them now and then around Okanogan County.
