Congrats to the hunters! 2 rams in 2 days, very cool. Awesome pic sitting next to each other. Out of curiosity, what would you age those rams at pope?

I'll take a stab at age and then let the expert weigh in....

We figured the big one is 6 1/2 and the other at 5 or so.  And, yeah, Pope had this guy pegged at 172 from the get go.  Um, pretty good.....I guess.

Ill take a look tonight but elkstuffer has his hands on them so he will know for sure.  Ill post some tribute photos of these rams tonight.  Ill say that young one had some attitude.  Scoring is never 100 percent accurate and my goal is to be within 5".  More to come.

I haven't put a on them yet. The getlemen just left. He's deffinatly going over 170. He is 7 1/2 years old and the other is 4 1/2.

I think a tribute would be nice Pope. I've been watching this larger ram for a while now. Kind of sad to see the old monarch down. :'(

Now I just have to break the news to Coach. :(

That's what I figured. They're both beauties.

I apologize to all about the quality of these images.  My goal was to simply document the ram, not get good photos of him.  A great ram with above average mass at 15.5" on the bases for a Cleman ram.  Congrats to the hunter.

Yes, Cleman.  Plus the raffle tag took a Cleman ram.

two great rams congrats on them . i'm pretty sure that the big guy was the one we pased the first day with the pics in the spotting scope , had him at 400 yards for half an hour , then he worked up the draw as i tryed to close for a bow shot the next morning he was shot about 1/4 mile up the draw , oh well I got to see at least 60 rams in three days one of the best hunts ever.

I compared the photos and it's not the same ram Coach.  The one you had in the scope is shorter.
