you are thinking of the right person
bad idea
did a simple coyote trip a few years back with him scheduled a hunt to bait for them
the night before he called us up and said he didnt know if we would be able to hunt because he hadnt even gotten the bait yet
he then told us we could use electric calls
the next morning he called back later about midnight saying he he couldnt get the calls from his buddy so we would use mouth calls
when we met up with him we ended up not even getting to go out till about 9 o clock
went to state land not private like he said
walked out to the first clearcut and called for 15 minutes and left
then drove cement roads while he said he had hunted a few private properties by sneaking on the back side without permission
he said he had a client shoot a deer right off the main road
this was suppose to be a full day hunt and a garenteed coyote he stopped it in the middle of the day and said we were done because he had to bring his kid to soccer practice i refused to pay the two hundred and gave him 75 shouldnt have gave anything
he likes to bend the laws to get  animals

Joe, you thinkin about Ed and Boyd Shelby? Hook em up with Arrow 5 down in Cali, or Doug and Janet Gattis down in Medford.

one thing he also told me is on the black bear hunts that he says are garenteed
he said he advertises this because people are more likely to pay more because they hear the word garenteed
not because they really are

I talked to that homo at the sportsman show a couple of years ago. He takes his clients road hunting in a little Nissan pickup, and cruies the logging roads, stopping to glass clearcuts. He had a video playing at his booth when I talked to him, and he was standing on the shoulder of the highway videoing some decent bucks in the velvet that were on private property. That guy is a tool.
