Joebear, I totally agree with all the you said, and I know this was not you but just asking what would you do in this scenerio??I am asking this because one time in Alaska I was on a moose, I watched him for about 25 minutes and knew he was not legal when I seen a couple of other hunters on the ridge. I watched them for a few minutes and actually threw the bino's up on them and seen that they were about to get into a good rest to pull the trigger. I put 3 rounds into the dirt about 25 yards from me and that scared the moose off and it also startled the crap out of them. I caught up to them later in the day, and told them the moose was not even close to being legal and their comment was well at that distance it looked legal. So just asking if anyone would have done the same thing?? Like I said I know it was not you that observed but justy looking for opinions???Joe
There can only be a handful of safety instructors in the area, someone needs to find this guy!

And if he didn't pay for what he did by losing his licence, he should at least have to pay through shame..
Another master hunter bites the dust. Wonder if he will continue to be an instructor.Mistakes can truly happen to anyone. You still have to take responsibility and more so if you leave. Lazy on the part of the officer. Nearly every time I have been around the officer looks for a home for the meat and most often makes the offender pack it out.
