I wonder if you can actually educate ignorant people??
after not having a lot of luck on public land my buddy and I opted to explore a little and do some jump shooting, scouting, etc. One thing that he and I always try to maintain is that if we see another hunter we try to stay at least 100+ yards away from them and their spread, and semi concealed so that our presence doesn't threaten their chance of pulling in some birds. I'm not sure why some people get so pissy about missing out on a honey hole on public land, first come first serve. If you think you need to have your own spot and not share, then man up and go spend the dollars on some land somewhere.I can't wait till I can take my son out (he's only about 6 months old now). I do worry a little about other people tho. on WaLakes.com I remember a guy mentioning taking his son out fishing on lake sammamish and the local liberals started harrasing him, throwing rocks at his boat, and one put on scuba gear and started pounding on the boat from underwater. I'm not sure how to handle that with a young child with me.
Put a snagging hook on and drive a barb through his scuba gear into his ass! That is rediculous.
