Man Ray, you shoot another  Buffle like that, I want him if you aren't going to taxi him.  Great bird.

Usually for our group like my dad and my brother when we hunt the river and we pass on every goldeneye and buffle head that come in, they make good decoys but we dont shoot em anymore, Buffles r to small and u could limit out on them if u wanted to and the goldeneyes are a bitch to skin like all divers, but worse, no fun in cleaning. But they present some good shots if we wanted to shoot em, they decoy pretty good. We would rather save our limit for widgeon and puddler ducks than divers

Thanks for passing on em!  I like to take a few good drakes every trip if the shot presents itself.  On the river I shoot for a mixed bag the most.  I'm sure we've seen you out there a few times!

If you guys want a prime buffy I know where to get em :chuckle:

This was last season.  3 buffs, 2 ringers, 1 BB, 1 wigeon.

Hey bone I think I still have one in the freezer, I'll have to look.  I know I have a nice wigeon (the one in my avatar) in there, but I don't have the money to mount him.  If you want a buff let me know and I'll wack a few this year and give ya the best one.

Heres the wigeon bigger.
