Mine happend when I was around 5 or 6. I was still learning to use a fishing pole and did not quite have the coordination to cast the rod and release the button all at the same time. Dad told me not to play with the fishing pole while he was gone but I thought while he was at work it would be a good time for me to get some practicing in. Well needless I ended up releasing the button at the wrong time and the fishing line with the hook bounced right back at me and caught me in the lip. Yes it was barbed and yes it hurt like hell to have pulled out.
