Three hunters, five mulies
«

We're feeling pretty good about the season, despite taking no monster bucks.
My teenage son made a great stalk and shot a doe yesterday:
I took a small buck and a doe. Proud of the stalk on the young Washington buck, closed from a half mile to 175 yards for the shot:
Taking the 390 - 400 yard shot in Wyoming:
My hunting buddy packing out one of his two bucks:
All do-it-yourself hunts on public land in Washington and Wyoming. Lots of good time afield with my son and with a good friend. Many miles of off-trail hiking, lots of rough country covered, lots of time glassing. Boned out/packed out two deer. Quartered one and packed it out. The other two were simpler, a drag to the truck. Thoroughly enjoyed our time afield and hunting together!
Regards, Guy

Carpsniper - sorry for the confusion. Shot the buck here in Washington in the general season. Went to Wyoming with high hopes, but ended up taking a doe there.
My buddy took a buck here, and a buck in Wyoming.
My son took a doe here.
Cleared it up?
