Actually he was 35 yards from where I last photgraphed him.  The dominator WAS standing right about where this pic was taken......  I think this is the second buck in this thread.  I think he'll do less watching this year :chuckle:

Yeah, I'd have to agree......same.
Throat patch, brow, and ear coloring are identical.

Nice find!  :)

Look at how the last couple inches of the tines bend in the exact same way, the brows are in the identical position as well.

I must have them confused, which picture is from this year? one is clearly beyond the ears and the other is almost even.

First is this year.  He is taller so that does add some to the illusion.  Mostly look at the left.

This is who had to watch this year.....see him in three years. (who the buck was watching in the last pic)

Same deer IMO.  The faces are too identical.  Kind of an odd shaped snout on both of them too.

I'd almost go out on a limb and say we were looking at one of his kids or younger brothers in the smaller buck.  Lots of comparisons in physique and bones.

Looks like the same buck to me too. Especially when phool stacked the pictures  ontop of each other. He made some great progress since last year too, can't wait to see him next year.

What do you guys think?  4 year old deer?  One or two more years and he'll be in his prime...

All he needs now is age...that frame has the potential for deep forks and good fronts.  Nice photos, as always!
