Any one out there ever hunt spring or fall Snows in South Dakota? I've heard it can be a phenomenal migration. Just curious as to what parts of the state to check out. -- DB

Look east of the river. Aberdeen, Huron, Waubay. should find some birds.

I haven't decided where to hunt snows yet for 2010. I went to Missouri this year and it was wild. I've seen the numbers that pass through that central flyway, so I know the Dakotas would be hot. There are a couple good guide services out there if you don't know where to hunt publically (or if you don't want to cart your own 900 decoys over) but typically the dakotas are pricier, like Alaska and WA.

these guys are real affordable though. I haven't used them, but my father in law and I are thinking about joining them for a spring hunt: http://outdooradrenaline.com/
