Hell who knows, the F&G may not know for sure.  Some of the animals transplanted years ago, the F&G doesn't even have any record of, at least not in Montana.  4-5 years ago my Father and I saw some Mtn Goats in an area that has never been known to have goats, my great grandparents homesteaded there in the late 1800's, so we've been around the area for a while and my Dad was an outfitter there for 20 years.  Researching my Grandfathers journals when he was a F&G man revealed they had transplanted 10 goats to that area just after world war II.  We called the F&G and they had no record of it.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

You guys are fools there are some sheep in the Pasayten that the game dept planted.

They were a thrown in on a trade with Alaska in 1973.. we gave them some Roosevelt elk and they gave us some Polar Bears for the zoo. The sheep were like a player to be named later. They have been in the Pasayten ever since.

It's a vast right wing conspiracy.  Blame W.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.
