As a few of you know I recently hooked up with our own Cameraguy and Ricochet down in the middle of nowhere Oregon. It was a great time finding animals to take pictures of every day even though the light was crap most of the time. We saw a little bit of everything and this is a decent representative sample of what we saw. Thanks to my hosts and guides. Hopefully you will add a few pictures to the thread.

Awesome, as always. Great pictures - cool to see coyotes, pheasants and hawk (not to say that the bucks aren't really cool, as well - everyone likes seeing those!)
Thanks and keep them coming!

Great pics Pope, I will echo some of the sentiments above, the coyote sequence is amazing.

Yeah, when we got bored we would go find coyotes and hawks. They were always a ways out there so there is a lot of crop in these photos but the action was great.

My Mom and step dad live in Bend, OR. I also love going down hunting fishing hiking etc etc. Oregon is a wonderfully diverse state with some amazingly wild places left in it.
Beautiful pictures.

Yeah, sun and bluebird skies every day. Bad for pictures. I didn't get a 600. I don't use that much lens most of the time so I rented one. I use something in the 400mm range most of the time. I like having that reach out in the open desert though.

Sean, had a really good time taking pics. on the refuge with you. The weather has really changed since you left, its overcast and spitting snow. Things should really start picking up in the next week or two. Elkman, I hope you can make it down. Things should really be heating up by the time you get here. Can't post any pictures right now that I took because my monitor is still screwed up, they look great on my monitor and lousy on others. Hopefully I'll get it fixed in the next day or so. Come on Ricochet, don't hold out.
