Biggest Bucks and Bulls

Just picked up the latest F&H News, there are some really nice bucks and bulls in the issue, even a big ol moose that went 163 from last fall.

Havent seen it yet. I know the guy who was in it earlier this season who shot the two blackies that were locked up. Someone offered him five grand for the bucks, but he declined. Curious to see if he is in it again.

163 moose?  I thought that was considered a dink.  I heard that there are 200+" running all over the place in the NE!

Not sure if its the same story but a guy from Shelton shot a blacktail that was locked up with another that was dead this year, if my memory isn't failing me. I think there was an article in the F & H News.

The guy that shot the locked blacktails is a long time friend of mine, He was hunting near his home in Shelton and stumbed on the bucks. They are now being mounted. Could'nt have happened to a nicer guy.

I read that article, but in there he said that it was just a rumor that he had been offered money for the bucks, I thought.

I originally posted the story here.
http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,2591.0.html

I heard the rumors of money from Sportsman's, Cabela's, etc. The shooter mentioned in an article that he had not had any offers.

Here ya go Bone, my dads buddy shot this 228 incher two years ago on a self guided float hunt he and my dad went on. I already posted this on MM when he first got it, so you might have already seen it. BTW, its an Alaskan ;)

Shane,
I tried contacting you once and no response. I even told you that I was extremely impressed with your whitetail. No response. Then I heard on a different forum that it was killed in a different state. I hope that was a rumor but either way it is an incredible animal. Then there was your post putting down the guy that didn't fill his bull moose tag where you said that you see 200 inch Moose. Your post was cocky and not nice. Then your shed post with no snow when NE Washington is covered in the white stuff. I regret saying anything at all. I hate that people (mostly on MM) pick apart other folks post. I should have kept my mouth shut. I am sure that you killed the buck and picked up the sheds it doesn't matter when or where. Like I said, I am sorry I said anything at all. The last thing I want is to get in a pissin match on the computer. I am going to strap the snow shoes on and go look at some big bull elk. Have a good one and sorry I opened my trap.

Yep, well done Groundhog.  The main reason that I left M-M was because of the b.s., pissing matches and penis measuring contests.  That is why I am not going to start it all over again here or encourage it.

Got something to say Polarbear? Your the frickin reason, you need to keep your mouth shut, get your #$%^ straight before you start typing, and this stuff wouldnt go on, with these sights.Yeah and about the moose till you live a little closer than 300+ miles away keep your mouth shut about the size of moose in this state, I live smack dab in the middle of the moose population in this state.Be like me claiming to be a expert on Blacktails when I live nowhere near Blacktail, grow up.

I never got anything from you Groundhog, but I dont take kindly to people second guessing or making up stories about people, such as Polar bear does and he wonders why this crap goes on.He took my story then inflated it to 3 times of what I said.

Let's make this clear.

Keep the personal agendas and ongoing feuds off this website. The moderators are not in the business of tracking back what happened on some other website or who said what when. We're not even good at taking sides. So when we see stuff getting real negative it get's zapped into outer space. When someone or some group of people continually make personal attacks against each other we will begin banning people or should I say zapping these troubled people away either temporarily or permanently.

If you keep it civil or better yet keep it elsewhere then everyone will be better off.

Just an observation, I wasn't going to say anything, but since there has been a lot of mention of "the other site", an interesting note. I sent a picture of mine from this year to both F&H News and MM. F&H News entered it in their contest, though I got no response at all from MM. Guess you have to be a Utard to get any love on that site any more. It seems like you have to post something political to even get a reply any more there. I really appreciate the format of this site, here here mods. Here's to many more years of HuntWa.....

I guess I didn't clarify my comment enough, I entered the Big buck and bull contest in F&H news and MM. If that isn't pertinant to the thread, I guess I'm confused.

Iowa...I hunted LOTS in college and managed to collect some nice bucks with a bow, muzzleloader and even a shotgun.
I think the 188 was a net score.
This deer scores 176, three circumference measurements over 7"!!!  Lots of mass.  This is my best bow kill.

Thanks!  The bigger one has sort of an exciting story.  I had a guy 4 hours away do the taxidermy, he was sort of flakey, but did AWESOME work.  Anyway, he took care of my deer and won a contest w/ it.  Then he went over the deep end and disappeared  :o  I ended up getting the deer back from his ex-wife a few months later...not sure where he ended up?
As you can imagine...i was more than a little concerned about the whereabouts of my mount!
