Tough guy
« on: November 11, 2009, 10:27:20 PM »
Now this tree has seen some wind. Ran across this guy on an exposed point up in the wilderness above Bumping. Just had tons of character and was in a pretty cool spot. I like to think of some of the storms that thing has sat through. Glad i won't be chained to that thing come our first REAL winter storm.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

I love the Bump'un area. I spend many ah weekend there dur'un each summer. Have Muzzleloader hunted that unit fer 10+years now.

The trees that have really seen alot of wind have no limbs on one side. This is called flagging.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
