OMFG some stupid a-hole has yet again brought a chainsaw out to one of my favorite duck hunting spots. The idiot has cut down all the natural coverage around the blind. Now it stands out like a penis in a punch bowl  He also took the saw to the blind and cut off about a foot of the top cover. This is a public blind on a NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE I wish I could catch this guy doing this I would give him a  I hate retarded people! I know that using a chain saw is not legal. I don't know what to do. Guess I'm going to hang a sign in the blind to let him know how stupid he is. If anybody on this site hunts the Columbia river and knows what I'm talking about, or is in fact the person who did this, you should tell them to stop. If you did it....Do the rest of us a favor and hang up your gun you are an idiot and should not be allowed to hunt.  It probably took twenty years for those trees to grow and in twenty minutes some stupid A-HOLE destroyed them all. This started last year and he returned this year to finish the job.

that is just absolutely ridiculous. people just have no frickin clue what the hell is going on. I wish these people would just stay out of our way....  in the animal world, they get weeded out by natural selection... too bad it doesnt work quite that way with people... these are the ones we need OUT!!!!

You cant build permanent blinds on public property. Its against the law. Of course everyone does (me included) I'm sure it was the DNR

Wrong agency, but I suspect the right idea; on federal wildlife refuge land, I suspect NWR employees with perhaps some help from our own WDFW. In WA, the DNR is a state agency unrelated to those two.

The other possibly was a P.O.'ed neighboring private hunt club or leasee that didn't like the cut in of their action.

Nothing private around this blind. The blind is old most likely built when i was just a little kid. It hunted great. Not sure how it will do now. End of story whoever did this needs to be caught and educated by force if necessary.

hate when people mess with the blinds
had a blind right on the waters edge for two years we kept building on it and it was great, but every time we went someone would move the blind 10 yrds to 15 yrds back
it just made shot longer so whats the point
every hunt we had to move the blind back and it took a lot of work
people need to just leave the blinds alone
