Heading out Soon for Late Whitetail
« on: November 13, 2009, 10:54:24 AM »
I'm heading out shortly for 4 days to see if we can get my buddy a WT. This is a meat hunt for him so any WT buck will die. It will have to be insanely huge for me to pull the trigger, I don't want to mess up my late Alta hunt with a dink WT  :chuckle:

See you in 4 days.

Good luck. I hope you find one worthy of letting your Alta permit go to waste.   :bash:    ;)

Hmm...then how are you able to hunt the rifle season for whitetails with your friend?  You must have the multi-season permit?   :dunno:

Sounds like he is just guiding his friend on his hunt.

You better hold out for a big one on that late Alta tag!

Well, he said:

That's what made me think he was hunting as well. Maybe I misunderstood.

Nope, I have a multi-season tag.

Were back a little early due to my buddies temp. crown breaking. We went south of Collville and I must say the WT deer numbers are WAY down in that part of the state due to the past 2 winters. BWe barely saw any deer (Even in private fields) and did not see any bucks, this is usually a meat hunt for us and we will usually tag out but my buddy came home empty handed this time. I can't wait until next tues as I will be leaving for my Late Alta hunt. I'm stoked  :IBCOOL:
