I'll take a dozen Columbia River mallards

The C.R. Decoys are great decoys.  If you can use about 2 dozen of them they sure do help.  Only draw back is they may not fit the budget.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

They are tough to fit into any budget.  I luckily bought mine when the original owner was making them and they still looked good.  I don't like Mario's paint job on the newer stuff.  And they were a lot "cheaper" 9 years ago when I bought mine, not the $500/dozen they are now.

I used them Wednesday for the first time, worst hunt of the year so far.  First 9 hunts were just 1 or 2 dozen plastics and my FW, 63 ducks and a goose.  Wednesday was tough, 2 birds.  Got to have days like that!
hey, where's Professor Chaos? Anyone seen him?

we used the carry lites today, along with 3 of the windduks.  definitely did not flare ducks. 4 guys had limits by 9-9:30am and singles kept dropping in on us after we got out of the blind to take pics of our pile of ducks.

so far I think I like them. If i'm walking a long ways, I probably won't take them, but If i'm within a reasonable distance I'll use them a lot i think.
