So some of you may know I got my elk opening day. I brought it to my uncles house where he has a homemade meat locker, pretty sweet. We kept the meat at 37 degrees for a week. Lastnight I went there after work and got it all butchered up. Brought the bags, and bags and bags of meat to my house. Today I will spend a good part of the day wrapping the meat. While my uncle is in ocean shores digging for razor clams. This is my first elk and all I can say it is no deer thats for sure.
