I think everyone pretty much understands what your trying to say...the problem with wanting to know whether or not someone is going to be in "your spot" or "your second spot" for that matter is unlikely to happen, sometimes I don't know which of "my spots" I am going to hunt until I  am on the water and reading the wind...that said, a lot of the spots I hunt are places that everybody who has hunted it has built onto the blind...some not as good as others,,,but everyone claims "there spot" because it has special meaning to them...just like my favorite fishing spot...I cant do much about it if someone else is there...it would be nice to know when someone plans on being there ...but plans change and "the early bird gets the worm" comes to mind.... and I know..I know...they were dumb disrespectful whipper-snappers who proved their stupidity even more later on...the thing is, if two different people call and ask (or whatever) for permission (or ...uh just telling him they planned on using it) what does your buddy tell the second guy that calls...does he say,oh sorry some other guys are gonna use it?  or does he say, well you better get there early to beat the guys who called earlier...then what happens when the latecomers show up? does your buddy call the first guys and tel them that someone else might try to beat them there????  its just overly complicated....to make it less complicated, the sign might better read something like ..."if you would like to get in contact with other hunters planning on using this blind please call or email...etc...    don't get me wrong....I am agreeing with you ...just in a totally unusual way    :)

Thanks Black Plague. I agree with you 100%. When the guy who built it has someone in there he lets me know because it is my favorite place to hunt. He is very good at letting others know that someone either has contacted him or letting them know that I may stop by just to say hello or to see how the hunting has been. If someone else has contacted him, he is usually out there and meets them to get to know them. He and I just want to be able to meet new people to hunt with that think like we do. He is in his his late 50's and does not get around to well and neither do I so we get along pretty well.
