Duck landjaegers?
« on: November 14, 2009, 09:08:21 PM »
Well, since I did not get a deer this year, and still need some meat to snack on, can I make landjaegers out of ducks?  I have access to lots of ducks, and probaly will shoot quite a few.
Thanks

I think as long as you add enough pork. Do you make your own landjaeger? Got a good recipe? I need to learn how to make it.

Use a recipe for venison landjaeger's and you should be fine.  We used to make all kinds of sausages out of goose meat and they were great.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Owens Meats in Cle Elum makes some great landjaeger!  Spendy, but not greasy in the pocket, and seems to last forever!

I would take it to a local butcher to do it.  So if I bring in some pork to mix in it would work?  Thanks for the help.
