Couldn't quite get everything to pan out on our stalks on the bigger deer but i'm very happy with the two we bagged.

The bad thing is, it usually takes 2 years to draw a non-res tag for just deer in montana.

the weather was terrible for hunting it got up to 60 on tues. it was just finally getting cold when we left, the bucks were really cranking up the rut towards the end of the week, i think i might have been one week early. next time i'll wait til this coming week of november.

Yes, my buck still had vevet on his horns, i was very surprised when i saw this, there was a guy who took a buck that was completely in velvet about 10 miles north of us, very strange.
