I'm glad you got him on here Drue.  Did you decide on full mount or rug yet?  He'd look good either way!

Good choice.  I've seen a fullmount that he did of a cougar and it is TOP notch.  Cats are one of the hardest animals to taxidermy lifelike as far as I am concerned, at least in looking at them with a scrutinizing eye.  The one I seen of his, there might even be a pic of one in the record book, are very very well done.  Its funny, this guy doesn't even know I exist, yet I am his neighbor and one of his biggest promoters.  He hasn't done anything for me, but everything I ahve seen done of his is top notch and I have no problem telling folks that.  I guess you live and die in that field by word of mouth.

Ya, Todd does great work!!!  His attention to detail is incredible and he does the additional modeling on the forms that is required to make full body mounts truly life like.  Many taxidermist, not all, either don't take the time, aren't experience enough or think that most people don't know the difference.  Like you said, cats are difficult.  Your either great at cats or you aren't....there seems to be no middle ground!

I called Todd before I got ahold of you for some info and he said that he knows of you, but didn't believe that he had ever met you in person.  It's a small world, especially in Selah!

He does appreciate that your an advocate of his work.

Never did get a weight on it.

I saw the pictures of your cat Houndhunter.  Very nice!!  Did you get an actual weight and estimated age by the biologist when you took it in or are you taking a SWAG?

Nice lion, you should be very proud of that cat!
