The trouble with laws...
« on: November 15, 2009, 02:32:25 PM »
Because of the new proposed open carry legislation, I'm confused as to what I can legally do.  If you are archery hunting on private, Weyco land, can you open carry a handgun as well?  I am not a felon, or have a CWP.  Surely I'm not the only one confused.

USAF, you MUST have a concealed permit to carry a modern handgun during archery or muzzleloader season. page 62 of regs;
"except for modern handguns carried for personal protection if that person possesses a concealed pistol license as defined by rcw 9.41.070.  Modern handguns cannot be used to hunt big game or dispatch..."
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

Thank you- that clarifies it.  Now then, with that CWP, you can now either conceal it or open carry?
