Are there a lot of those things running around here?
Hopefully they float well in storm like conditions. Just remember the creater of those things died in Tillamook Bay several years back from capsizing then hypothermia set in.

Wow! Sorry for the confusion, I'm talking about the little boat by mallard marine. Not that shooting rats in a marsh wouldn't be fun
h2ofowler- thanks for the heads up, no interest in taking it on big water, just wanna get where I can't go in my big boat.

Mine is an old fiberglass model also. I just picked bought it las summer and haven't had a chance to hunt from it yet. I live in Skagit county so I'm looking somewhere up up north.

My marsh rat has been great this year. It's my first year in it but it works for those tough little ditchs and sloughs. I'd be up for a hunt I'm also in skagit send me a pm.

I have an old fiberglass version also. Just in case you did not know, there is a couple of floats that Mallard Marine will send you for free if you call them with your hull number. The boats were sinking when flipped over so they are adding floats as kind of a recall. They are great little boats if your careful.
