I have had few pins that go past the 10" mark, but those are far and few between and are usually shot towards the end of January.  The good ones run in 7-1/2" -9" range.

here's one my son shot on the last day of the season last year.  Should be getting it back from the taxidermist this week.

So that sounds like the pin grows longer as the season progresses? Do they keep the same pin year to year?
