quick shoot this morning

well, i went out to one of my mallard holes this morning. just me and the dog and we were back home sitting on the couch by 8:00. It was a fun shoot. ended with 5 greenheads, 1 hen, and a drake greenwing

Good job.  Mine took a little longer.  Went after snow geese and finished up around 8:30.  I had to wait until they started to fly.

so jealous of you guys!!! there are mallards in the pond on campus and I walk bye them a couple times a day. I just go done with class... not fair guys!!!

yeah, and im going out to do another mallard shoot tomorrow at a different spot they have been coming into. good luck to all this weekend. im hitting that mallard hole tomorrow and 2 goose fields saterday and sunday. man i love whacking birds.  :IBCOOL:

alot of stuff around here  has opened back up with it warming up the last few days, but with this cold front coming in hopefully a bunch of new birds will come with it.  :IBCOOL:

It should be interesting this weekend.  The birds have scattered everywhere.  To much rain.  Every low spot now has standing water.

we havnt gotten that much rain. a little sprinkle here and there and thats it.  :dunno:

It's coming.  It needs to freeze back up again and concentrate the birds more.
