What waders would you recommend?

I've got to replace my near new (third season) LaCrosse "Brush-Tuff" waders  I just patched my 5th hole in the boots. It seems that anywhere there is a crease, when they are worn, the rubber is splitting.

Any recommendations on what I should buy? Do I move away from LaCrosse, or did they meet they're life span (I hunt a lot)?

I'm looking at the Cabela's Super Mag's, Cabela"s 1200Ti's or the Drake LST Eqwaders.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would pick some up on Black Friday.  I'm sure they would be a decent cost somewhere.  If your on the west side just pick up the 3.5 mil with 400-600 gram boot insulate.  That's all you need.  If your hunting in sub zero and not walking a lot go for the 5 mil 1200 gram boots.  I just pick up a new set every year, so I go with the less expensive ones.

I just lost a pair under the same sit. the boots are just blow out. I stiched to the 1200 ti from cabelas and they are crap. So i wish i would have gone with the brush tuff again!

I am a believer that all waders leak, or at least will! Lol. Its about being comfotably damp... I have built in boots,  but had the sock type. The sock type might be the better way to go if you are hiking a lot because you can pick comfy boots... But I've lost them in mud before and I know I'm not alone there.

my current waders were about $150 at sportsmans last year and are very comfortable. I think the breathables are worth looking at. Even guys who pop them seem to go back for more.

We bought the Cabelas with the 1600 gram. They are awsome..no problems with leaking.
Just bought my son some Stearns DU for $79. at wingsupply. They are 1000gram/5mm but, cheap. So, hopefully they work well.

Just bought a pair of MAD DOG waders by Stearns. 5 mil neoprene, 1200 grams of thinsulate in the boot, fleece lined and more pockets that you can imagine. Never thought I could be so warm standing in flooded timber!

i have lacross brush-tuff waders and i have over 10 patches in them now. you still got awhile till you need new ones

Upon recommendation from this site. I ordered a pair of Hodgman Dura Stretch Neo  waders from Coleman. These are the 1200/5mm with all the bells and whistles, these babies are warm, waterproof, have a great sole and they fit great. I was skeptical about having a zippered front but now that I have used them in the pond, I find that very convenient and reliable. I ordered these from Coleman on a Thursday afternoon and they were on my door step 8 days later. I paid no shipping and the after tax cost was $109. plus some change. super mags for the east side. light mags for the west side. i love my light mags.

I fell on a stick at the edge of the water and it stabbed me so hard in the thigh i though it had stuck right on through my waders into my artery and whatever other juicy stuff that would have involved.  I scurried back up the bank expecting to apply pressure and pull out my cell phone but there was no apparent hole. Inside of my thigh was bleeding i found later that day but the waders never leaked.

This is a timely subject. I am looking into waders myself. I have my breathable waders and wading boots for fly fishing. Has anyone ever started with these when just starting out in waterfowling? The cold water during winter steelheading has never been an issue.
