why do people do this?

a worker of ours came in at 6:00am and noticed a deer carcass in the ditch. I drove by at 7:10 and saw that it was a buck with no head. I figured it had gotten hit by a car and someone took advantage of the situation. I went the other direction at 7:30 and a county officer was looking at it, then about noon a friend calls me to tell me he stopped and brushed the snow off of it and found a bullet hole in the shoulder! some a$$wipe shot it, took the head and left it in the ditch! there were no tracks around it(fresh snow) when I went by at 7:10 so it had to be way before first light.

That is the worst kind of poaching.   >:( >:( >:(  Somewhere in my head I always want to be believe that people poach because they really need the food.  I know that is not true but then you see stuff like this and it is even worse.

well i would like to believe that there is hope, and that it could have been hit by a car, and shot to be put out of his misery. i have seen it done and would like to hope htat this was possibly the same thing and not a poacher. even though it would still suck that a good buck was wasted.

We ran into a couple friends in Montana on Wednesday that told of us a buck they had spotted that morning along the dirt road, it was not laying there the previous evening. They got out and walked over to it and saw that it had been shot and capped and left to rot. :bash: I took a couple pics from the car when we got to it.

Would this be poaching or killing. Either way the poeple who do it are scum

ill probably get a lot of crap for making this comment like i always do but indians do this all the time deer elk whatever antlers they can sell  indians  :pee:
