« on: November 22, 2009, 07:19:39 PM »
how many wooden duck blinds are built on the public hunting area including fobes hill ? I see  two,but what actually are the boundries? shooting zones? I looked  at w.d.f.w,maps dont exactly match-up with what  I have been told. Ive seen guys shoot birds pretty close to the trestle. seen afew birds, smart ones just out of range.

One that I know of at ebey island all the way in the back of the feild.  It has not been very good back there so Far this year.  I don't hunt it but I don't hear very many shots from back there when people do hunt it.
Fobes has more then most people think.  Most of them are on the eastern shore closer to the houses.  Good luck getting to them now the water has come up a lot.  The spot i hunt out there had waist deep water 2 weeks ago now its over my waders.

I believe a marshrat boat would be ideal for fobes, yes the water keeps raising. I hunted out of the ebey island sunday afternoon, ducks came in good but  I was still putting out some decoys shotgun in the blind, after that they stayed just out of range.

ha definately! I have done that more than once before wade out to fix a couple decoys with my gun and then there are three divers bombing right at me so I just bend down to look like a stump and pop up and shoot 'em =) its pretty fun!!! had a couple buddies standing in the decoys shoot ducks flying right over the top of them before too ha
