It happens almost every year!! Was it this year? I heard of a nice one being shot by a bow hunter every year, in the State park. We even helped the warden track down these guys who shot a 3 point in someone's back yard about 7 years ago. The dummy stays in a trailer right on the corner by the State park. He knew the rules!!! Idiots....They have nice genes let them spread em!!

Yes I took this pic last thursday and I saw him again on saturday night. It is really too bad !! They may get fines and loose licence ect. But it won't bring back the genetics!!!

I really dont like hearing that!!  Why cant people have more respect then that?  It is'nt getting any better.  I think they should do atleast 1yr min. in the county jail and lose ther hunting lic. (If they even have one) for life.  Community service duty should be to feed the deer every weekend for a min. of 1yr  The same with the S.O.B. Poachers :twocents:
The wife said if I go hunting 1 more time, she's going 2 leave me!!  Gosh I'm gonna miss her.

The park is in downtown Conconully, WA, west of Omak.

I've never seen a nice buck like that in the park...kinda cool, but apparently it's also a bit tempting for the inbreds.

Not usually bucks of that size there.  However, several years ago during the late bow season, there was a real bruiser there.  Non-typical with unreal mass.  You should have seen the dumbf@&*ks trying to push him out of the park.  Little did they know, state park land continues for quite a ways outside the park, and the rest is private.  Was thinking I was going to get 10. ;)  Funny thing was I was talking about staying around the park the day he got waxed hoping to find someone stupid enough. :bash:

Awhile back there was a really old deer with nice antlers that roamed town. I have video of him and I swear I could've pet him. He had an unusual rack and a nice double throat patch, I love Conconully and find this crap so sad...

Thats Bull sht, it's always nice to come back into town and see bucks if you havn't seen any all day hunting in the woods, it must be hard to shoot a tame deer, many people in town feed them in their yards, here's a buck in town a couple years ago

IT amazes me what people call trophies.  Is it like their personal best even though they shoot it in a petting zoo or high fenced yard.  I'm afraid to say anything or else I would be considered an elitist pig, but what trophy value would someone get out of that?  There is another thread on here about a late tag and the guy popped it first day off the road. At least thats mostly legal assuming he got off the road, but where is the hunt, where is the story.  Everytime you look at that deer on the wall, are you going to think, yeah, I snuck up on him behind the picnic table and dumped him right next to the restroom, and was able to back my truck up to him.   :dunno:  Some thrill.   I guess some people buy racks off of ebay so........

I remember 2 years ago when some other jackarse stuck that tame little 4 point in town and left him with the arrow hanging out his arse.  Then the warden told you to finish the poor thing if it ever got onto the land you had permission on, to try and not give the bowhunters a bad name.  I also remember the story of when you were trying to find the stuck buck and fed another legal buck a piece of your pizza out your truck window outside of city limits.  Takes a real worthless individual to have to hunt downtown Conc, as it's extremely difficult. >:(

really!  you would think that is something that would eat at you the rest of yer life. Grandpa tell me the story about that deer on the wall! ok son sit down and listin up.... it was an hour after dark as i found myself in my stand on the big toy i new there was a good buck in the area as i had seen him pushin does past the swing set an hour earlier. all the suddin i could hear from behind me what sounded like a buck makin a rub on the no parking sign. knowing he wasnt goin to come my way without a little sweet temptation i pulled out my secret weapon a piece of cold pizza i had in my pack from the day before!! one whiff of that and he would sure to be headed my way! and as i thought he was on his way. just when i thought everything was coming together and he was gonna give me a shot up outta the ground came the sprinklers and my nights hunt was over!!!!

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  sorry just had to vent some more
