LTL's - 2009 Wild Pig Euro's by Michelle Nelson

Well,
In June I went on an archery hunt for wild boar in coastal Georgia and I scored on two meat sized hogs (well under 150 lbs).
Well, I sent those two skulls to Michelle Nelson to get them Euro'd. Here is the result!
My first shot was a perfect double lung pass through but I gave it a 2nd shot as I always try to do no matter how great the first shot is...
well, my second shot was a complete pass through but its entry hole passed directly through the close side lower jaw of my pig... the hole has the tri-blade shape of the thunderhead 125 that hit it!
I have boiled over 100 pig skulls...its cheaper than getting a Taxi like Michelle to Macerate the skulls or to beetle clean em...but, of the 100+ pig skulls I did myself...not 1 was I able to save the nasle bones...
Michelle did a great job as she always has for me!
I ended up killing 9 more pigs with my bow this summer...(most on video) and half of them were bigger than these two...but Im doing them myself so they wont end up looking this good! MY GARAGE smells great...lol
thanks for viewing!

yep..actually weigh ur hogs...and learn to measure them from tip of nose to inside eye corner...
if the hog seems like its well over 150...then measure it...I believe a large form from Mckenzie starts at around 9.5 inches n-eye...if its not gonna make a large form...dont spring for a shoulder mount, just do a euro
if ya get ya one thats gonna fit a large or even a XL...then ya get a shoulder mount damn the cost (prob 500$ or so)
I killed a 200lb hog with a short E_N measurement... it ended up on a med form...looks like a cute lil pot belly pig

NC? thats an odd spot? Are you hunting on the west side near the cherokee indian res or in a high fence?
MUCH MUCH more populated areas to choose from...my # 1 would be coastal GA and #2 Texas...if ur looking for wild hogs!
