 :o , nice uh, deer...
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

well i got there saturday morning at first light  saw 3 does and a small 3 point and passed  went as high as i could get and wasnt seeing much so i was going to try another area and headed down  got to where the 3 does were and there was a 2 point and a 3 point 5 yards off the road on the opposite side of the road so we stopped to take a few pics  but i kept watching the does and then i spotted a horn going through  the brush and grabbed the gun an walked up the road and he came out at about 100 yds and i hammered him 1 shot right throught the lungs he ran right toward me and dropped at 30 yards it was fun but having second thoughts now if i should have held out
