CODYS LATE PALOUSE HUNT...PICS ADDED
« on: November 24, 2009, 03:50:30 PM »
:)  What a great way to end the year hunting.  I didn't even shoot a round and it was a very successful year. I think the older I get the more I enjoy seeing my son get his deer.  He's 17 now and is 3 for 3.  He has shot 2 in Wyoming and this year he connected on a nice Whitetail.

I want to thank all of you who gave me us a little insight on hunting over on the Eastside and giving us some general directions on where to find some animals.

Every farmer who we asked over there were more than happy to let us hunt on their land. ( I think my WSU hat came in handy.  ;) )

Check out our video on Youtube.  I think it turned out pretty good.

You can tell he was a fighter by the broken antlers. :o

call me stupid, call me ignorant, but i had no clue it took so long after a deer was shot like that to die.  :dunno: i guess if i ever do go deer hunting i will try to make a headshot  ;) dont like to see animals suffer but i guess its better than tracking a deer for a couple hundred yards.

damn near ripped some ducks heads off breaking their necks, they kicked for a while to i guess.

didnt mean to thread jack, just kinda ignorant from watching hunting shows on tv where they shoot a deer and show it drop and then they walk up 30 minutes later and its not even in the same spot that it was killed or piled up.

nice shot and cool vid btw

Woahhh Very nice shot.  That deer was stone cold dead right from the shot.  Hunting shows on the sports channel are not reality.

Good job Cody
