Federal headstamps
« on: November 24, 2009, 03:53:46 PM »
I have some loaded 300wsm ammo that got mixed up, different bullet weights. I see the different head stamps & wonder if you can tell which is which by that? I looked on the Federal site but didn't find anything. Stamps are large F C, -F C-, small FC. I have some 165 gr partitions, 180gr SP power shoks, & 180gr partitions. Maybe I could weigh them?
I have Man Chit to do

Pull a bullet from each and weigh it, should be able to tell the difference by the shape of the 2- 180 grain.
