Little Brother smoked a nice white tail on the Eastside today

So just got a call from my brother, smoked a nice whitetail today, first buck, made a little mock scrape sat there and smoked it at 135 yards with his new
30-06, was so excited I had to get him to calm down before he could tell me the story. Then I had to talk him threw gutting it and getting it ready to make into a shoulder mount.
22 years 3 months and 4 days, happily retired from the U.S Army.

There are a couple of permit areas that were open through today. What unit was he hunting.Nice Buck.

124 was open to 5 rifle permit holders until today, not sure about the other units.

Hey all was just having a little fun, "Eastside" to me is home state of New York!!!!!  He got it in the northern part of New York, going to fly out on the 3rd of Dec and we are going to mount it up and send him back on the 13th, hopefully it will be dried and we can finish it.
