the funnest gun you own
« on: November 25, 2009, 08:53:32 PM »
what the funnest gun you own? and why? mine i would have to say is a walther p22, because its dirt cheap to shoot for plinking, and i can also shoot grouse with it. which ive shot 7 with it. id like to get the longer barrel for it so its a little more accurate. anyway, im looking for some thing else that alot of fun to shoot.

i would have to say my R-15. its just a blast to shoot and wicked accurate. the fact that its the one i get to hunt with the most bieng mt coyote gun gives it a leg up on the fun department over the others i have

My slightly customized Ruger SS MKII Government Target pistols, Because at Bullseye tonight, I shot another Master score with one of them. I have other guns that I like a whole lot.. Just as much even, in my safe though.

Ruger 44 mag semi-auto carbine rifle.  Red Dot scope.  Steel Butt plate.

It's small, compact and lays out one hell of a wallup.  It will put a pile of lead anywhere the Red Dot lands within 100 yards.

I built it for close quarter Hog Hunting in Texas.  I Call It "HOG WILD"

The one in my hand...
I would have to say for "fun" factor my marlin .22 with leopold scope is the gun i have the most fun with every spring thinning out the ground squirrels.
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I think my Marlin 45-70 Cowboy is my favorite. I hand load it and it's hot but I just like to shoot it. It will vaporize a 1 gallon jug at 100 yards. It's just fun a feels good when I toss it up. I am thinking about starting a lever gun collection someday.

Savage 93 .17hmr was a lot of fun last week on prairedogs. The scope is dialed in and I had them doing backflips out past 300 yards.

Of course the potato gun is one of the kids favorites

Gosh.. This is really tough.. Love my SS Kimber 1911.. And the Colt Diamond Back.. And my SBH. And my SSRH. And Mr. Lucky, a Marlin lever gun that's got 8 notches in the sling for deer kills.

All of my guns are FUN!

I like my 17 HMR. cheap and you can shoot all day long. My AR15s are fun but get expensive fast if you shoot a lot.

I no longer own them but I had an H&K 94 and 91 that were a lot of fun.  The "funnest" had to be the semi auto German MP-40 that I had in high school.
