Klickitat coons, bobcat, foxes?
« on: November 27, 2009, 06:44:39 PM »
I know where to find coyotes in Klickitat county but am having a tough time finding coons, bobcats, and foxes. Can anyone confirm they are up here and maybe send me in the right direction?

I live on Soda Springs Road, right by the Wildlife Area.  We have coons and bobcats, plus cougars here.  We have one hell of a yote population here also.
The only fox i have seen have been in the hills above Maryhill Museum.  From there on down towards Wishram.

I was up at Soda Springs Today hunting, there's alot more late archery hunters than I remember there being. If I knew you lived there I would have stoped by.

The white salmon river has more coons than I've seen anywhere else. I've seen a bobcat like 3 miles past Jerry's house. It was in the summertime though. I'd try around the Klickitat for bobcats, the elusive *censored*s.

I have seen one bobcat about 10-15 miles west of bickleton. Someone had just hit it and it was laying in the middle of the road. I think that area is all private though. Roscoe Imrie has a bunch of it posted.
