Ducks for Sunday

  We have a acess to a farm with lots of sitting ducks. Put out a winduk today and got a few. Tommorow we are going earlier and putting out some decoys. We have room for one more hunter that can call, we are new :P. The propety is in Snohomish county so let me know if you can help us. The farmer says there is hundreds of mallards every morning we saw plenty around 10am.

Yeah Yeah don't rub it in. Will be thinking of you guys while I'm fishing pulling steelhead and salmon in from 2 minutes away from home!  :chuckle:

I told myself I was going to work on steelhead this year since I missed most of it this year, but every chance I have to get out is really dedicated to ducks. I'm not giving up on ducks until I get a band!! additionally, I want mount worthy birds. a Woodie, pin, harli, and old squaw are on the list for this year ;) I got a decent pin drake a couple weeks ago, and located my harli, but the drake was a little young and I'm waiting for a seaduck trip I'm taking to hopefully bag the harli and old squaw together.

Yeah hear ya on staying hunting ducks. But live 2 mins off the skykomish river and there is some good fish running, so kinda hard to resist when it is right out your door! :)

Dang, i'm late on this one too. Oh well. And I hear you about the steelhead. Been fishin the cascade a bit and seen a few nice ones pulled outta there the other day. Can't wait till it gets hot.

How was the fishing? We had a good morning hunt took 7,could have been more. :dunno: This is my first year duck hunting I usualy steehead all winter. Snowman how far are you away from he Sultan launch? Ill have to take you out on my sled.
