Ducks for Sunday
« on: November 28, 2009, 01:46:49 PM »
We have a acess to a farm with lots of sitting ducks. Put out a winduk today and got a few. Tommorow we are going earlier and putting out some decoys. We have room for one more hunter that can call, we are new :P. The propety is in Snohomish county so let me know if you can help us. The farmer says there is hundreds of mallards every morning we saw plenty around 10am.

I told myself I was going to work on steelhead this year since I missed most of it this year, but every chance I have to get out is really dedicated to ducks. I'm not giving up on ducks until I get a band!! additionally, I want mount worthy birds. a Woodie, pin, harli, and old squaw are on the list for this year ;) I got a decent pin drake a couple weeks ago, and located my harli, but the drake was a little young and I'm waiting for a seaduck trip I'm taking to hopefully bag the harli and old squaw together.

Yeah hear ya on staying hunting ducks. But live 2 mins off the skykomish river and there is some good fish running, so kinda hard to resist when it is right out your door! :)
