well some how i did it again. opening morning just barely daylight i stood up to stretch and there was a cow 25yds straight below me. dont know how she got there but then 11 more came in the last one was the bull. it was so foggy and dim i let him go once. all i could see was his weak side and it looked to be a big spike. he fed off into the timber and half the cows followed him but the rest fed up to me with in 10 yds. as they fed up the bull and the rest came back in and i got a way better look this time. i could see he was a 3x4. i dropped him in his tracks with a neck shot of 15yds or so. the second i shot it started snowing very hard. we had a hell of a pack since there were only 3 of us this yr but it is all worth it. hes not a monster but dam proud to have him in my freezer

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Congrats on the bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sounds like a great hunt to me!
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.
