Oregon B.T.'s
« on: November 28, 2009, 10:54:51 PM »
A buddy of mine that lives in Central OR sent me this pic the other day. His buddy and his brother and dad rounded these three bucks up the same day out of forest company land down there. I'd love to shoot just one like any of these someday in my life.

Yeah I guess the guy always seems to find a dandy every year, but he spends A LOT of time in the woods. They just managed to stumble onto a whole bunch of dandies in the same day. What i gather is that they were not in the same clear-cut but that they were all within a mile or so of eachother, a ways back in behind a closed gate.

What unit in central Oregon because pretty much every thing central are Mule deer with tygh valley unit 141 being one of the only places to tag "Bench Leg" Bucks.  Either way the bucks are awesome and I would hang one on my wall no problem, just was wondering if they were truly black tails?
